My Story

Born in Bangalore, India. Raised in a humble household where education meant everything. As a child was always into sketching and football. The bug of coding for fun bit me at the age of 15. I was always inspired by successful entrepreneurs from India at an early age.

Love for electronic gadgets led me to choose engineering. Completed my bachelors education in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University. After working for few years took up masters education in Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, but dropped out to purse as an entrepreneur. But completed my digital MBA from The Power Business School and met some great entrepreneurs in the programme.

Tried to build a 3d printing startup with a friend in 2012. Tried it during university and the lack of knowledge and limits in resources led us no where. But it was a great learning experience to build a something from scratch, to sell something by cold calling people and losing all the saved up pocket money.

Joined Infosys immediately after Bachelors education and worked there for 2 years. As a Systems Engineer in R&D made POCs of new products and presented to customers with senior team members. Also worked on few other delivery products with global clients like British Telecom and Emirates National Bank. Was part of a very senior team of engineers, architects and product experts in research and development, which allowed me to learn a lot and helped me focus on my career goals as an entrepreneur.

Moved to Germany for masters but eventually dropped out to work and build startups. Worked in multiple companies, started first as a language and code generation software engineer in Amadeus. Then chose a Software architect and lead role in a startup over an offer as an intern in Google. Then as a lead worked in the joint startups called Covomo and Blanket and built instant insurance products and headed the product and tech teams in multiple locations.

In 2018 met my investor i.e Ampolon Ventures and my co-founder. Collectively validated an idea in the proptech space to streamline and digitize the complex analog processes of commercial leasing and founded Ophigo. Raised multiple rounds of funding from Aareon Group (Parent company of Ampolon Ventures) a global property technology software company. Built two products at Ophigo, namely a tenant dashboard for streamlining all the tenant processes and then a supplier CRM dashboard streamlining all the processes of builders, property owners, asset managers and brokers.

After building and running the company through covid, there was an opportunity for an acquisition of Ophigo. The company was successfully acquired by Aareon Group in 2021 for an undisclosed amount. A full press release can be found here.
